Unity Developer
Location: Armenia, LATAM, Remote
Job Type: Contractor
We are seeking an experienced Unity Developer to help implement new features and upgrade our existing Unity project to the latest LTS version. You will work with a cross-functional team to modernize our codebase, integrate and update third-party plugins, and ensure smooth deployment across mobile platforms.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Upgrade the Unity project to the latest LTS version, resolving all compatibility issues.
- Implement new features and maintain existing functionality.
- Refactor and update C# scripts to comply with new Unity APIs.
- Integrate, update, and troubleshoot third-party plugins (e.g., Watson SDK, DOTween, FlurryAnalytics, Anima2D, Puppet2D).
- Ensure mobile build compatibility (Android and iOS), including keystore and publishing workflows.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Use Git for version control and code collaboration.
- Debug, profile, and optimize the application for performance and stability.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of professional experience with Unity (preferably 2021 LTS or newer).
- Strong proficiency in C# and Unity scripting.
- Proven experience upgrading Unity projects and handling API changes.
- Experience with mobile development (Android and iOS), including build and deployment.
- Familiarity with third-party Unity plugins and SDKs (Watson SDK, DOTween, FlurryAnalytics, Anima2D, Puppet2D).
- Solid understanding of Unity’s asset pipeline, prefabs, animation controllers, and scene management.
- Proficient with Git and collaborative workflows.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with IBM Watson or other cloud-based SDKs.
- Familiarity with Unity automated testing (Play Mode/Edit Mode).
- Experience with CI/CD for Unity projects.
- Knowledge of secure credential management for cloud services.or
